He came to life, out from the dark, and entered to this Land.
He was small and fat, he weight so little, you could hold him
in your Hand.
From the time he was born, to the day he died, he was never
Really the Same
Althought he looked alright, and seemed alright, you knew it
when it Came.
It took a while, then he moved a bit, he even began to Walk.
And who knows in a month or two, he may even begin to Talk.
But in the end, it was to be, his time had surely Come.
It was Our Lord, who took him up, to be his loving Son.
He is never really alone now, there is always someone There.
Someone with a gentle Heart, but a Heart thats very Bare.

Hi Ken,
Amy Johnson has been passing on your queries to me regarding your ggg grandmother. As Amy told you, I haven't found any information about whether she is buried in the Collins grave in Curraghkippane or not, but below are some references that might be of interest to you. Basically what it's showing is a marriage of Edward Walsh [Daunt] to Elizabeth Ryan on 23-10-1834, which took place in either Carrigaline or Crosshaven. The record of this marriage should be in Crosshaven church. The baptisms of two of their children are shown as well, Mary [21-09-1841] and Tom [1 or 8-04-1843]. Mark Collins [Jerome Collins father] was a sponsor at the baptism of Mary, and his wife Ellen Collins was a sponsor for Tom. The connection seems to be on Ellen's side of the family though, as her maiden name was Ryan and the the mother of the two children was Elizabeth Ryan. I don't know exactly where these baptism are recorded, other than they are in the Belgooly/Ballymartle area. It's possible that Catherine Walsh Daunt was another child of this couple.
Below those references is the marriage record of Thomas Daunt and Mary Walsh on 1-01-1795. [I don't know where the marriage took place] This seems to be where the surname came from. One of their children appears to be the Edward who married Elizabeth Ryan. | Family: Edward Walsh. DAUNT / Elizabeth RYAN (F729)

How will we age?
piano
(CNN) -- Catherine McCaig is 103 years old. Widowed 65 years ago, she lives a busy life, alone in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Her 95-year-old sister Winifred Whynot lives two doors away and comes over to visit nearly every day for a home-cooked meal.
The two sisters are being studied by Dr. Thomas Perls, a gerontologist at Harvard Medical School. He suspects there are genes in their family that have allowed them to reach such an advanced age in remarkably good health. Their brother Nat lived to 93. | TWOHIG, Catherine J (I7171)
