- The Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette,Fri., July 29, 1910, p. 3, col. 4 & 5.Death of Howard B. Overcash.__Howard B. Overcash, of 928 N Street west, died at 8 o'clock last evening following an extended illness. The funeral will be held from the residence at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, in charge of Linden camp No. 145, M. W. A., Rev. C. W. Maggart and Rev. F. K. Ward officiating. Interment will be made in Linwood cemetery.__Mr. Overcash was injured in the year 1908 by heavy lifting and he later suffered an attack of pneumonia that weakened his system for Tuberculosis that was the final cause of his death. Besides the Modern Woodmen, he was also a member of the M. B. A. and Royal Neighbors. Besides his wife he leaves a little daughter to mourn his loss.
